The ExoMars Trace Gas Orbiter’s main science mission began at the end of April 2018, just a couple of months before the start of the global dust storm that engulfed the planet. TGO followed the onset and development of the storm and monitored how the increase in dust affected the water vapour in the atmosphere. https://rdcu.be/bvP1d

Using ground-based high-resolution spectroscopy, we detected excess absorption in the helium triplet at 1083 nanometers during the transit of the Saturn-mass exoplanet WASP-69b, at a signal-to-noise ratio of 18.

We have detected water vapour in the exoplanet hot Jupiter HD 189733b in multiple bands in the near-IR.
This represents the first detection of a molecule in an exo-atmosphere with the CARMENES instrument using the high-dispersion spectroscopy technique.

Stratospheric and mesospheric ozone distributions have been retrieved from MIPAS observations in the three middle atmosphere modes. The measurements are global in latitude (pole-to-pole) taken at 10 am and 10 pm and covering the period from 2005 until April 2012.

The meeting will take place in Granada (Spain) at the Instituto de Astrofísica de Andalucía (IAA-CSIC) premises.
During the meeting, presentations on the most recent MIPAS data products and their validation will be given and data issues will be discussed. Scientific work on the basis of MIPAS-IMK/IAA data will be presented, including over-arching data-bases using MIPAS-IMK-IAA data. Beyond this, time will be allocated for possible MIPAS follow-up missions.
