Bernd Funke selected as vice-president of SCOSTEP

SCOSTEP (Scientific Committee on Solar Terrestrial Physics) is an international organization devoted to promoting the international scientific cooperation in the field of solar and terrestrial physics. In particular its main goal is to study the effects of the Sun over the Earth, and specially on the atmosphere and climate. More information about SCOSTEP can be found here.

During the 28th General Assembly of the International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics (IUGG), held in Berlin in July 2023, the GAPT member Dr. Bernd Funke was elected as vice-president of SCOSTEP. Congratulations Bernd!
