We aim at advancing our knowledge of the terrestrial atmosphere in two major aspects: the impact of solar irradiance and energetic particle precipitation variabilities on the atmospheric composition and climate, and study the trends in temperature, composition and energy balance in the middle and upper atmosphere and their possible links to climate change. Further, we will continue our studies on exo-atmospheres (detection of molecules, measuring winds, and studying the atmospheric escape in hot Jupiters).
